ABOUT

I find the story others overlook.

I’m a communications leader with 15+ years of experience helping brands and organizations uncover the stories, insights, and opportunities that others overlook.

My career has taken me across consumer products, retail and e-commerce, technology, entertainment, education, travel, food and beverage, wellness, and nonprofit organizations. While the industries and audiences have varied, my approach has remained consistent: understand the business, understand the people it needs to reach, and find the story that connects the two.

I think big, but stay close to the work.

I’ve advised executives, launched brands and products, built thought leadership platforms, shaped cultural conversations, and led communications through complex and high-profile moments. My experience spans corporate and executive communications, brand strategy, media relations, internal communications, content, social, talent and influencer partnerships, experiential marketing, and reputation management.

I’m a strategist who likes to stay close to the work. That can mean developing positioning and writing executive content one day, then shaping a creative concept, working with talent, or producing an event the next. I bring strong creative judgment and a discerning visual eye, and I care about how the words, visuals, and experience work together to tell a cohesive story.

I lead beyond the work itself.

As a member of agency management, my role extends beyond communications strategy. I lead senior client relationships, multidisciplinary teams and complex account portfolios while helping shape the processes behind the work. I’ve overseen as many as six concurrent client accounts, led teams of up to 10, managed six-figure program budgets, developed new scopes of work and helped turn challenged accounts into trusted, growing client relationships.

I’ve also built agency wide processes for client onboarding, performance reviews, new business development and case study creation. I’m comfortable leading through influence across fluid teams, bringing together colleagues, partners and executives who may not formally report to me but share responsibility for the outcome.

I know how to turn an insight into something people notice.

Some of my best work has started with a signal others might have missed: an emerging consumer behavior, a cultural shift, an unexpected data point, or a business milestone with a bigger story behind it. I’ve turned those insights into campaigns, content, thought leadership, partnerships, and experiences for brands including Disney, Michaels, Plenty of Fish, Amazon, Taco Bell, NFL, Avelo Airlines, Plex, and RENPHO.

Communications is ultimately about people.

Great communications isn’t simply about saying what matters most to a company. It starts with understanding what matters to the people on the other side: what they care about, what gets their attention, and what will make a brand or idea relevant to them. That understanding is what turns a message into something people actually want to hear.
